So, little Emily is back under the tanning bed for a few days. She actually doesn't seem to mind it too much. I hate it because it means I can only hold her 1 hour per day rather than the 2 1/12 - 3 that we were getting used to. The good news is that she is back up to her birth weight today! (3lbs, 2oz). She is also doing pretty well with her feeding, albeit a little spit up.
She continues to breath room air (without help) however, there is constant talk of giving her a little help because this is pretty tough for her. I will keep you posted. She seems to have the most trouble when she is feeding...go figure, she gives herself a food coma!

Congrats on getting Emily back to her birth weight! That is a huge accomplishment. No doubt all of the time you are putting in at the NICU is paying off. Stay strong!
