Check out Emily's new booties. She looks like she is getting ready to go skiing with Aunt Casie in the Northwest.Emily is doing great, they are increasing her milk, which is super. However, she gets herself into such a deep sleep, that she forgets to breathe. They say that this is a pretty common premie thing, but obviously it scares me to death. To help her, they are starting her on caffeine regimen.
Now, I always said that I could live without my morning cup of Java so, I guess it runs in the family...

Today is day 6 of Emily's life. On day 6 of Jesse's life you arrived in Seattle to help me under some pretty dire circumstances. No friend has ever done more to help me...EVER. So, if there is anything I can do for you, I know you'll ask and you'll know I'll do it.

She's looking great, and I am glad to see that she is already getting her first taste of "designer" shoes! I sense a future Nordstroms shopper....
Emily looks like she is staring right at the camera! The new hat is pretty cute too. It's like she's halfway dressed to brave the Chicago winter, but someone forgot to put on her snowsuit. Hope she loves the caffeine as much as you do.

Well, we know that Emily won't be skiing with me, unless she wants to take a detour down the side of the mountain. Casie will have to take the lead on that one. She looks FABULOUS. I just want you to know that we're still praying for you daily.
