No more feeding tube!!!

Oh my, there have been some fabulous developments in the past 24 - 48 hours. First, Emily has been a rockstar on her feedings. She has taken all of her last feedings over the past 36 hours from me or her bottle and her feeding tube was removed. She is now on "Brady watch". Meaning, she has to go 5 days without a Brady (slowing of the heartbeat), and then she is sprung! We thought it would be Monday, but she had a little Brady today so, it is Tuesday, at the earliest. We will keep you posted!

Here are some pics of Emily sans any tape and tubes. These are 3 of the 100,000 that I have taken so far;)

Yeah! What a big day for Emily! You go baby girl! I just looked back on your first couple of blogs - it's so amazing to see how she's growing bigger and prettier every day. Here's to her coming home next week. L/L

Happy six weeks to Emily!! She looks soooo beautiful and content. I see the beginnings of some chubby cheeks and gorgeous eyelashes! Better start getting that bassinet ready =)

She is getting so big and she's so beautiful!!! I'm sad that I haven't been feeling well and can't visit. But I'm on the mend, so I'll get to meet her soon. I can't wait to see you tomorrow at the shower.

Love,
Kelly

Wow! What great news! Hopefully, it will be no time at all before she can go home. She is really filling out, and looks absolutely beautiful--and soooo healthy. Keep it up Emily! Sure wish we lived closer so we could come see her. Oh well, we will have to wait to see her sometime this summer.

Much Love,

Marilyn, John and Aunt Mary
