Emily had a doctors appointment yesterday. She gained an astonishing 40 oz. since her last visit 32 days ago. That is well beyond the 1/2 to 1 ounce per day they wanted. She had a few shots so, we all had a rough night last night.
She is now 8 lbs. 10 oz!!
The bad news is the doctor has confirmed we are to be home bound until Emily is at least 6 months old or more. No travelling, no restaurants, etc. As if I need another excuse not to hit the gym, the doctor also says no day care at the gym, and no 'baby and me' yoga. He actually looked like he wanted to take Emily away when I asked him about yoga. He called that a "disaster".
