Hi Everyone!
THANK YOU SO MUCH for all the comments. They make me cry (in a good way). I am having a few technical difficulties posting pictures, but I will get some more up tonight.
Emily is doing MUCH better today. She was not tolerating my milk for the last two days, but they are trying it again today...keep your fingers crossed. She takes it through a tube in her mouth, but getting that "real" food is a big milestone.
Also, her tanning days are over...for now...which is great, that means more "Kangaroo time". That is one of the special things that they do here, for 2 hours a day (or 1 if she needs to go tanning), she comes off of the baby-heater and I get to put her on my chest for a nap. Studies show that my body temp will rise to keep her warm, and I think that it is true. That is my favorite time of day, which is the only time I get to hold her. John gets to do it for the first time tonight!
Also, this morning, John held her for a few moments for the first time. It was so special.

Hi Renee, John and little Emily,
I'm so happy everybody is doing well and that Emily it getting stronger. Hey, she's a Salomon, so I would expect nothing less.
I would love to still bring dinner over some night. I'm stuck in Minnesota, but will be home tomorrow. I know you are busy going back and forth to the hospital, so I'd love to do whatever I can to help.
I can't wait to meet Emily when she's ready to come home. I love you guys and am keeping you in my thoughts.
