The three of usDespite a few minor (and we mean minor) setbacks, Emily seemed to have a good day. She spent an hour on Renee's chest bonding. Renee and therefore Emily were intending to be tanning with the girls in Ft Myers. As you can see Emily decided to catch up on her tanning right here in Chicago. (Happy bachlorette party Cathy)

A beautiful family portrait! Whe looks like she is getting stronger each day. And what is this that John is saying about looking like a Salomon -- I think she looks just like Hilary Swank with those strong grips -- a real fighter!!

Congratulations on your beautiful baby girl! Talk about water works - just looking at the picture of you holding her for the first time got them flowing! It must have been amazing. She's so sweet.
I will continue to keep Emily and her proud parents in my prayers. I love her name, and it really fits her perfectly. I can't wait to meet her. Thanks so much for doing this blog. It's wonderful to hear about her progress and see her grow.

Emily is beautiful, just like her name. And look at all that dark hair! Jim thinks she looks like John, but I need a few pictures of John with a little more hair to make an accurate comparison - ha ha, sorry John I couldn't resist:) Hang in there, we're thinking of you and miss you lots, and can't wait til we finally get to meet Emily.
